The EDA Foundation Project
Commissioning of a model lecture room for the department of entrepreneurship and agribusiness and the department of renewable energy at cape coast technical university.
The EDA Foundation, a Corporate Social Responsibility wing of EDA Logistics, on 10th February, 2024, commissioned a model lecture room for the Department of Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness, and the Department of Renewable Energy at the Cape Coast Technical University.
This project came to fruition through correspondences between Dr. Atsu Nkukpornu (Department of Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness, and Ing. Dr. Gabriel Jonathan Amissah (The Director of the Centre for Renewable Energy), both staff of Cape Coast Technical University and the Management of EDA Group, coupled with the vision of the EDA Foundation which is aims at contributing to the development of an entrepreneurial culture among university students and the local community as well as empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.

The EDA Foundation Pilot Project
Tamale Technical University Donation
On 13th March, 2021, the EDA Foundation, a Corporate Social Responsibility wing of EDA Logistics donated an amount of cash to some selected brilliant but needy students of the Tamale Technical University (TaTU).
The selected students who are in their 3rd year in the university were selected based on exceptional academic merit and each of them received a cash donation to support their tertiary education.
The cash donation was carried out in collaboration with Savannah Optical Services, a leading optical clinic in Tamale, which provided vouchers to the beneficiaries so they can attend free eye screening and consultation services as well.

Eric, therefore, introduced the social impact drive as part of the organizational culture of EDA Logistics. The social project of the company which seeks to provide education for kids in deprived communities is dubbed “EDUKIDS”.
EDA Logistics has won several commercial projects in the country and beyond due to this distinctive culture which is hinged on economic and social imperatives.
At EDA Logistics, we believe that “NO KID SHOULD BE DEPRIVED OF BASIC EDUCATION”. EDA Logistics acknowledges the efforts by government towards education, however, the company believes that public spending alone is insufficient for achieving improved educational outcomes for the socially marginalized and vulnerable in society.
The future of education for kids (EDUKIDS) and its sustainability is manifested in the profound statement of the CEO of EDA Logistics “I will use my last pesewa to put that kid who has been deprived of education back to school”.
