WHEN YOU DO BUSINESS WITH EDA LOGISTICS, YOU ARE AS WELL HELPING KIDS IN VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES THROUGH EDUCATION..
The EDA Foundation, a Corporate Social Responsibility wing of EDA Logistics, on 10th February, 2024, commissioned a model lecture room for the Department of Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness, and the Department of Renewable Energy at the Cape Coast Technical University.
This project came to fruition through correspondences between Dr. Atsu Nkukpornu (Department of Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness, and Ing. Dr. Gabriel Jonathan Amissah (The Director of the Centre for Renewable Energy), both staff of Cape Coast Technical University and the Management of EDA Group, coupled with the vision of the EDA Foundation which is aims at contributing to the development of an entrepreneurial culture among university students and the local community as well as empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.

As a positive social impact-oriented company, we target the vulnerable in various marginalized communities with social projects that will create the awareness and assist children, the youth and the less privileged in these communities in Ghana and beyond with the entrepreneurial drive and mindset. One way by we achieve this is through the provision of educational support.
Eric, the leader and captain of EDA Logistics who personally has an experience of a challenging past, is always looking out for an opportunity to help individuals in vulnerable situations. He has an altruistic nature, with a strong passion to make a positive social impact.
On 13th March, 2021, the EDA Foundation, a Corporate Social Responsibility wing of EDA Logistics donated an amount of cash to some selected brilliant but needy students of the Tamale Technical University (TaTU).
The selected students who are in their 3rd year in the university were selected based on exceptional academic merit and each of them received a cash donation to support their tertiary education.
The cash donation was carried out in collaboration with Savannah Optical Services, a leading optical clinic in Tamale, which provided vouchers to the beneficiaries so they can attend free eye screening and consultation services as well.
