Eric Akukumah is the Chief Executive Officer of EDA Logistics and Co-Founder of Kristocentric Broadcasting Network. He is also the Country Director for RUBIS Asphalt. Eric Akukumah graduated from the University of Ghana Business School with an MSc. in International Business and also a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Cape Coast, Dominion University College Campus. He is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing-UK (CIM-UK).
He has previously worked with Grimaldi Ghana Limited and BV Shipping Limited and has undertaken several projects with QGMI, Contracta, Sinohydro, and Inzag, among others. His international exposure, corporate experience, and knowledge of international business and management give him the competitive edge to transact business with companies worldwide.
He is a recipient of several awards: The Best Marketing Student, Best Business Student, and, also emerged as the valedictorian of his class at Dominion University College. Eric has also received several honorary awards, including the Young CEO of the Year at the 2022 University of Ghana Alumni Maiden Business Excellence Awards. He was also adjudged Man of Integrity and awarded a membership certificate at the West African Nobles Forum (WANF) presentation ceremony. He was nominated and awarded winner in the Shipping and Maritime category of the Forty under 40 Awards event in 2023.
His social impact drive led to the establishment of the EDA Foundation, a non-profit social initiative supporting the underprivileged. The Foundation has, among other causes, supported brilliant but needy students and women groups in parts of the Northern Region of Ghana. Eric's altruistic motive to impact society distinguishes his business from other businesses. Eric Akukumah's business philosophies are predicated on excellent customer-centric culture, strong teamwork, and adaptation. Outside of work, he is passionate about soccer.
Mr Alfred Nartey is a System Developer and System Analyst and a member of the Board of Directors of EDA. He is one of the founders of EDA. He has over 15 years practical experience in the Shipping/Logistics industry. He plays an essential role in the development and growth of EDA. His last position was in Grimaldi Ghana Limited.
Dr. Atsu Nkukpornu is a Consultative Business Development and Social Project Manager of EDA Logistics and an Entrepreneurship lecturer at Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU). He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Marketing (with Entrepreneurship Focus), a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Marketing all from the University of Ghana, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Garden City University Campus), and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing from Kumasi Technical University.
He has served as a facilitator for several academic programs which include a literature review seminar for Doctoral students of the Central University of Technology (CUT, South Africa), Ghana Chapter. Entrepreneurship Training at the University of Ghana Business School, Executive Development Program (UGBS ED), and a facilitator for Customer Service at Presbyterian University, Ghana, Centre for Continuous Professional Development (PUG CCPD).
He has over a decade of industry experience with local and multinational companies. He was contracted to assist the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana in conducting consumer/customer surveys. He has worked with Ederick Ltd (Whirlpool Home Appliances) as a marketing officer and WBV Ltd (Mining consultant and Outsourcing Agent) as the Head of Operations.
He has also served as a consultant and trainer for public institutions like Ghana Supply Company Ltd., and private businesses such as Leaders Light Company Limited, and Francis Sirtee Enterprise.
Dr. Atsu Nkukpornu's business orientation focuses on broadening traditional measures of business success to encompass an organization's positive impact on social well-being (People), environmental sustainability (Planet), and a fair economy (Profit).
